In June 2008, Todayz Teenz interviewed the powerpop band Amy Can Flyy from the South of England.
The group consists of 4 boys
Ben (18) - Vocals
Chris (18) - Guitar
Clive (20) - Bass
Fuzz (17) - Drums
Todayz Teenz asked Amy Can Flyy what their funniest story was while on tour.
We then asked Amy Can Flyy about the furthest gig they had played away from home.
"Earlier this year we did a UK tour with Casiokid, and they brought with them a merch guy called Ian. Because Ian was surplus to requirement and wasn't in either of the bands, he soon became the butt of all the jokes! We played a show at the Student Union in Derby, where Ian, Jack from Casiokid, and Ben got asked to leave the building for sliding down some bannisters, or something ridiculous like that. Anyways, they were hanging round in the entrance with Chris, and someone told Ian to get naked! So Ian took off all his clothes, which were snatched up pretty quickly, and a game of piggy in the middle was commenced with his clothes! There were casualties."
"The furthest gig we played from home was Rockers in Glasgow, which was pretty cool. But the best gig we played was at Carling Academy 2 in Newcastle. We played to a sold out crowd of people who were really into the music. When we played, everyone started bouncing, and dancing, and you could feel the floor shake. It was unbelievable! The kind of show you want to play every night!"
Todayz Teenz finally ended the interview by asking Amy Can Flyy about their album.
"We had an E.P. out on April 1st. It is called "Dinosaurs go Rawr!". It features five tracks
1. Dinosaurs go Rawr!
2. Doctor Doctor
3. Go Go Gadget Happy Heart
4. I Like My Girlfriend
5. Love, Lust and Pixie Dust
